STEAMER ON FIRE
Half-Hour Fight by Crew 244 PASSENGERS ABOARD ADELA3DE, Feb/ 28. During a voyage from Adelaide to Fremantle a fire was discovered in No. 4 hold of the inter-State liner Dimtroon, carrying 244 passengers, 4000 tons of cargo and several xacehorses, inclndlng the New Zealander, The Riff. The captain sent a wireless message stating that the fire was under control on Friday, but he was returning to Adelaide. •When the Duntroon arrived it was stated that firemen subdued the fire in half an hour. The damaged cargo was removed and the ship resumed its voyage to Fremantle,
