Union's Monthly Meeting

POitANUrAHAU, Last Nignt. The monthly meeting of the Porangahau branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Lnion was held on Monday. Mr O'Reilly, the. president, presided over a fair attendance. It was decided to hold the annual general meeting on the first Monday in April. A rtsolution was passed favouring ccmpulsory membership of the union. A visit to the Smedley Station is to be arranged for March 24. It was decided to hold a special meeting of farmers on Monday, March 15, to discuss, the future of the Porangahau saleyards.
