Wairoa Dairy Factory. The January pay-out at the Wairoa Dairy factory was £9199 on the basis of 1/- per lb. for finest, compared with last year'a £7865 on the basis of lOd per lb. Waipukurau School. The Waipukurau school opened with a roll number of 393, two 'more than last year. ThBre were 33 new pupils enrolled. This . figure was the same last year though it was swelled by the re-entrance of five-year-old children into the school. The large number of new pupils is due, partly, to the number of people who have moved into Waipukurau recently. °
