The following team has been selected to represent the Hawke's Bay-Poverty "Bay Athletic Centre at the New Zealand athletic championship meeting, to be held at Auckland on Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13. — ♦ Walks. LONGLEY. fligh Jump and Discus Throw. E. PHILLIPS. Pole Vault and Hammer Throw. R. JOHNSON. Hop, Step and Jump, High Jump and Hammer Throw. G. TIFFEN. Women' s Events and Women' s Relay. MISSES TONG, SWAYNE, PRINCE, CHOVEAUX. Tbe team will leave the Motor Co.'s garage, Napier, at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, returning on the following Sunday. Mr A. C. Bird has been appointed managier.
