The following team has been selected to represent the Hawke's Bay-Poverty "Bay Athletic Centre at the New Zealand athletic championship meeting, to be held at Auckland on Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13. — ♦ Walks. I. DRISCOLL. 100 Yards and 220 Yards. W. J, FITZSIMMONS, G. QUINN, . R. PHILLIPS. 120 and 220 Yards Hurdles. F. SHARPLEY. f 440 Yards Hurdles. P. BEGLEY, A. C. BIRD. 880 Yards. R. LONGLEY. fligh Jump and Discus Throw. E. PHILLIPS. Pole Vault and Hammer Throw. R. JOHNSON. Hop, Step and Jump, High Jump and Hammer Throw. G. TIFFEN. Women' s Events and Women' s Relay. MISSES TONG, SWAYNE, PRINCE, CHOVEAUX. Tbe team will leave the Motor Co.'s garage, Napier, at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, returning on the following Sunday. Mr A. C. Bird has been appointed managier.
