PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Messrs M. Stafford, A. Gowland and Miss G. Stafford, of Pehiri, Poverty Bay, and Mrs J- Bradford and Miss Bradford, of ' Manutuke, are on a holiday visit to Waikaremoana. Miss Rosemary Rees, the talented New Zealand authoress, is spending a holiday with Mrs H. D. Delautour, Te Ariki, )Vairoa. Mr and Mrs A. G. Smith have retumed to Wairoa from a North Island motor tour. They were accompanied bv thejr son, Mr Robert Smith. Mrs K. W. Bull, CHfford St. Gisborne, and her two children aije visiting Lake Waikaremoana. Miss Marjorie Pufflet, of Gisborne, has been holidaying at Waikaremoana. Mr and Mrs J. P. Moore left Wairoa for Auckland on Saturday, where they are to reside in future. Mrs H. Elwin, Mr and Mrs P. Cooper, and Mrs Willis, of Auckland were among the visitors to Frasertown for the Elwin — Poyzer wedding. Mr T. Browne, of Lucknow street, Wairoa, returned on Wednesday from Hokitika. Miss E. Davy, who for some years past has been on the exchange staff of the Waipawa Post Office, has been appointed as toll operator at New Plymouth.
