. To-morrow at all Anglican place* oi worship Harvest Festival eervice* ■will be held. Fruit, vegetables and preserves can be brought not later th&n Monday morning, when they aill be taken to the three Church of England homes for children in Hawke'* Bay, The services at St. Matthew's Church to-morroiv will be Holy CommunioUj at 7 a.m., 8 a.m. and also. at noonj cniidren s service at 10 a.m. The Sun* aay schools at St. Matthew's, Mahora, ancl Parkvale will re-assemble at 9.45 a.m. All Bible classes will also meet at the usual hours. There will be Holy Communipn. at: St - James^si* Puke street, at 7.15 a.m, and evensong at l p.m. At St. Barnabas, , Parkvale, evening servjce will be held at 7 p.m. A service' will -be held. at' 2'.30 p.m. at Raukawa. Matins and sermon at the parish church will be at* H a.m. aua festivdl evensong aud. sermon at 7 p.m. The anthem .will be. "Lord, How Alainfold are Thy Works". ' The family pew service will be the special feature to-morrow morning in the Baptist Church, and all families are requested to sit together. A t'uL attendance is urged. In th® evening at seven the minister will take for tbtsubject "Kadesh-Barnea". ' All* ai'fc heartily invited to hear the Rer.' C. B. Bpggis at both these services.* Olioir anthems will be contributed. The Sunday school classes .will meet at 2.30 and at the same hour the Pukahu service will take place. The services in the Methodist Church, Hastmgs, on Sunday .will be conducted by the Rev. A. O. Jones in the morning and supply in the evening. The choir will render anthems as follows:. -Morning, anthem*; * evening, "Hark, Hark, My Soul". The subject of the address in the United Hall, Lyndon road, an Sunday night will be "Th© Day of the Lord" and will eoncern the approaching return of Christ and the events then to transpire. All interested are wdL come. "Can The Church Hold Her Own Against Modern Tendencies ?" ia the subject oi the address to be delivered by Rev. P. J, A. Shaw in' St. An-' drew's Church to-morrow evening. This is a subject of vital importance. All Sunday School and Bible classes joi connection with St. Andrew's congregation will re-assemble to-morrow ' st the usual time. New members will W very. cordially welcomed. Th© meetings in the Salvation Axwm Hall to-morrow will be made brig^ with much hearty congregational . singing and added to this music and song by the band an4 songsters. The subject to be taken by Major Marshall ip the morning, "Action the Doctrine", will be specially helpful to Christian*. Major Wheeler will speak in the evening on "The Saviour's Grief", using it as an appeal to all who do not respond to a Saviour'B love, Mr A. G. Nairn, the Irish-Evange-list, will be the speaker at Neiso* street Hall on Sunday evening. Bw experiences in the Irish Polioe . Forco and on the West Coast goldfields provided telling "illustrations which hav« given point to his addressea. The services in the Havelock North Presbyterian Church will be conducted by the Rev. R. Waughi in the morning and by Mr J. Thorp in the evening. Mr Waugh will also hold servic© at Kereru at 3 p.m. and at Maraekakaho at 7} p.m.
