SIR GUY STANDING DEAD
British Actor at Hollywood (Received 26, 8.45 a.m.) HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 24. Sir Guy Standing died of a heart attack while chatting tq an empioyee in the offices of a motor agency. Ihe empioyee asked how he felt and Sir Guy replied: "Exoellent. I never felt better in my life." A second lator he fell to the floor. Friends traced death indirectly to the bite of a'black widow spider two years ago during the filming of "Livos of a Bengal Lancer." Apparently he recLovered, but recently compTained of pains in his legs. He refused medical care. \ is believed the poison affected his heart. Sir Guy served in the Eurapeau war from 1914 to 1918 and was a member of the British War Mission to U.S.A. .in 1918-
