WELLINGTON, Last Night. A misunderstanding among some mortgagors who have failed to make application for adjustment is removed by the Hon, H. G. R. Mason, Minister of Justice, in a statement. "They believe there will be an interruption of their hanking account aud that account will be stopped," he said. "This so-called stopping was merely a separation of transactions previous to the filling of applications from those subsequent to applications." The Minister added that there were a number of reasons why this difjtinction should be made. "The Statute giveg its special protection to advances made to farmers for the current season's requirements," he continued. "There al'e, therefore, spearated from the old account and placed in a second account. The credit of a farmer at the bank is not interfered with by filing an application for adjustment."
