(Eeceived 25, 11.45 a.m.) EUGBY, Fob. 24, Balloon barrage units for the defence of London against air attacks are being organised. Balloon nnits will be formed on an auxiliary Air Force basi« with a nucleue personnei. It wfts stated in the House of Commons in reply to a question that 308 men were now under training for the nucleus. The recruitment of the auxiliary Air Force would be announced later. The Minister for the Co-ordinatlon of Defence, replying to the questipn whether any action was being taken to secure that the three defence. departments had the necessary supplipB of such metals as lead spelter and whether it was proposed to take any action to prevent speculatorQ from holding up supplies, said that the defence departments had had no difficulty in obtaining such suppliee of these metals as they required. The sccond part of the question therefore did not arise.
