Hastings Store Cattle Store cattle at Stortford Lodge todav totalled some 200 head and meluded » big proportion of dairy lots of young cattle. which met with fair inquiry, selling to £2 14/-. Small pens were chiefly offered in this section. with few entries of much quality. Included among the entries and prices paid were the following: — A pen of 22 dairy sorts, mixf>d in size and condition, sold at £2 14/-. £4 secured three Hereford crossbred heifers, young cattle. medium framed, and in fair store order. A line of 30 Hereford and Shorthorn crossbred runner steers, medium grown, made £5.
