Miss Morris to Continue Pacific Cruise CHINA AND THE FAR EAST Next week Miss Eileen Morris, of Napier, leaves to rejoin the T« Rapunga at Houolulu to continue the cruise of the NortF Pacific. Visits are to be made to ffie west coast ot America and later to China and the Far Easti ^ Miss Morris is looking forward io continuing the adventurous cruise and antieipates that she will derive as much enjoyment out of the forthcoming trip as she did out of the last. She informed a Herald-Tribune representative this morning that the skipper, M'r G. Dibbern, who, it will be recnlled, h.as visited Hastings on at least .two occa' sions, has begun the writing of a bools embodying nis adventures and philosophy. it was very difficult for kim to make rapid progress With the work, she explained, for the reason that the navigation of the vessel occupied a big portion of his time while at sea, and when in th© various ports he tvaa naturally keen to make the most of tho opportnnities availablo for gathering lnforxrxaticm. Miss Morris declarod that she wa© "thrilled with the idea of visiting new land* and seeing new peoples" and realised that the trip would be a great experience to her. SHe mentioned that she hoped to acquire sufficient materiai to justify her writing later on. Miss Morris will be leaving early next week and expeets that shortly after her arrival at Honolulu the cruise will commence. Accompanying her am the cruise. will be Mr Di,bbern and Mr Roy Murdock, a New Zealand journar list. [ .
