Paterson, S.M., sentenced Frank McCallum in tho Hamilton Police Court to two years ' probation and ordered Mm to take out and maintain a prohibition order. His fWorship described the assault as brutal. "Drink makes you worse than a beast," he said. "You went to this unfortunato man's room and made a bestial suggestion to him and when He refused you brutally assaulted The accused was ordered to pay'fhe medical and prosecution costs and £24 damages.
