SATURDAY WEDDING AT DANNEVIRKE
Watson — Keonp A very pretty wedding of great interest to Dannevirke and Waipawa residents was solemnised at St John's Ohurch, Dannevii-ke, on Saturday, the contracting parties being Ada Margaret, third daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Kempj Dannevirke, and Gecii James, eldest son of Mr and the late Mrs J. JM. Watson, Waipawa. The* bride, wlio entered the church on the aria of her father, was atti-red in a charming gown of magnolia satin, with an overdress of needlerun lace made on elassic lines. The veil of silk net, whicli was worn off the face, was held in piace with a coronet of orange biossoni and lillies. The bridesmaids, Irene Timson and E/uth Kemp, both of Dannevirke, were attired in marina blue cloque, with halos of silver leaves. The bridal party ail carried shoaves of gladioli. Coleen Curtin, in a dress of blue satin, was flower jgirl and Ronald Kemp, in white satin, was page. They are niece and nephew of the bride. On leaving the church the bride was given a very pretty horse shoe by Gerald Curtin. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, the bride's mother receiving the guests in . an ensemble of navy blue and white. Mrs Harwood, sister of the bridegroom, wore a brown floral ensemblfe, and both carried posies of contrasting shades. After the reception a dance was held, during whdch the bride and groom left for their hojieynioon, the bride wearing a navy blue costume with hat and shoes to tone and whjte accessories.
