First Passenger to Land at Waipukurau Aerodrome

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. Dr. Anderson, Wellington, was the first passenger by air to land at the Central Hawke'e Bay Aero Club's newly-completed landing ground at Waipukurau. Dr. Anderson arrived from Wellington on Saturday afternoon in the Wellington Aero Club's Waco plane. He was met by Dr. W. B. Eisher, Waipukurau, and Dr. T. Seton Norris, Waipawa. It is understood that Dr. Anderson perf ormed • an. operation- at 8.0 p.m. on Saturday and lefi again this morning for Wellington.
