WAKARARA MEETING

The first meeting o the New Year ' of the Wakarara Women's Institute ' was held on Saturday, when the president, Mrs Warlow, presided over a good attendance of members .and visitors. Nominations for the new comniittee were received. The call was ' ' Suggestions for the year's programme." A demonstration on hair-waving was given by Mrs Warlow, for which she was accorded a vote of thanks. A very interesting. jig-saw puzzlo was won by Mrs Barker. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses.
