BRIDGE PARTY GIVEN FOR MRS E. A. W. HENLEY
Another hostess at a very jolly bridge, party given in honour of IMrs E. A. W. Henley, who leaves early in March for England, was Mrs Stuart Seoular who entertained her friends at the Hawke's Bay Women's dub on Thursday afternoon. Tables Were arranged in the card room where masses of hydrangeas and larkspurs gave a gay touch of coiour and. similiar flowers also decorated the louug© where afternoon tea was served. Mrs Seoular wore a smart black and white tunic frock while the guest of lionour chose an ensemble of navy and white floral chiffon' and a' uavy straw hat. The guests were. Mrs W. G. Wood, Mra R. D. Kettle, Mrs F. N. Fussell, Mrs F. N. Harvey, Mrs R. I, Sutton, Mrs T. Gilray, Mrs J. P. D. Leaby, Mrs G. Kelly, Mrs C. F. H. Pollock, Mrs H. H. Barnett, Mrs M. M. Carlile, Mrs H. Humphries, Mrs W. Humphries, Mrs J. Mason, Mrs Rickard, Mrs S. Twigg, Mrs E. Cornford', Mrs J. Gatenby; Mrs St. Laurence, Mrs A. Hetley, Miss Handyside, Miss Moncktou, and Miss E. Loudoun.
