^hero yards yesterday, a big yarding of stock came forward. There was a good average attendance and prices were much on a par with zecent saies. Fat sheep prices showed an easing of from 1/- to 1/6. A considerable entry of store sheep were offered. The beef entry eompriaed 28, most being dairy sorts. One Hereford bullock made £8 19/-, station cows, aged, made £4 1/- to £4 17/-, good weight Jerseys to £4 11/-, one heavy red heifer £6, and Jersey heifers £3 10/-. Good vealers £2 9/-. Prices were: — Bullocks: 1 Hereford, £9 19/-; cows: 3 Hereford and PA medium finish, £4 17/-; 2 Herefords aged, £4 1/-; 2 Jerseys £3 17/-; 1 Jersey £3 7/-; 1 light Jersey, £4 6/-; 1 brindle, £3 4/-; 2 Jerseys, £4 11/-; 1 black, £4 5/-; 1 Jersey, £3 1/-. Heifers: 1 Jersey, £3 10/-; 1 good red, £6, Vealers: 2 at £2 9/-; 1 at £2 9/-. FAT SHEEP. Fat sheep were easier by about i/to 1/6. Ewes made 17/- to 18/7, Southdowns, including two-tooths, ; 22/6, wethers, 22/4 to 24/4, with a single one at 25/6, and Southdown lambs 18/8. Prices were: — Ewes: 52 at 18/2, 7 at 18/6, 12 at 18/1, 13 at 17/1, 16 at 17/8, 5 at 18/7, 24 Southdowns, several two-tqoths, 22/6, 24 heavy, 18/8, 17 at 17/7, 21 at 17/-. Lambs: 11 Southdowns, 18/8. Wethers: 11 two-tooths 23/4,. 8 heavy 24/4, .1 at 25/6, 1 Southdown 24/-. STORE SHEEP. There was a considerable entry of store sheep. Woolly wether lambs went to 20/-; ewe lambs, shorn, to 18/6 and 19/6, best wethers, 25/6; 6-year ewes to 20/3; 4, 6 and 8-th, 24/9. Prices: Two-tooth ewes: 35, fairly good line 25/-. ^ Aged ewes: 36, fair mouth and condition, 13/7; 111, good condition, 23/-; 224, on acconnt of Mr Mitford, 2-ths, good fresh line, 23/-; 126 4-th, good size with condition 24/1; 61 fat and forward, 25/6; "99, good forward, 25/6. Wether lambs: 200 shorn, medium size, fairly good condition, 14/6; 142 shorn, high country, fairly good size, good condition, 16/5; 487, account of Avondale station, well grown, woolly, good order, 20/-; 144, good size and condition 15/6; 78 shorn good frame, fresh condition, 19/1. Ewe lambs: 120; shorn, fairly good size good order (p), 18/6; 200 shorn, fairly good line, 19/6. Six-year ewes: 111, good frame and condition, 15/9; 66, 5 and 6-year, good mouths medium condition, 17/6; 380 age mouth, good condition, 20/3 and 19/5.
