Guilty Verdict With Mercy Recommended CAMBRIDGE CASE

The jury returned a verdict of gujlty with a strong recommendation to mercy in the case of Petrina Luise Kui, of Cambridge, charged with attempting on Decemher 24 to mnrder her two half-caste Chinese children. . At the opening of the case the Crown had advised the jury that they miglit be wise to considor the matter leniently. Mr Justicq Fair said he agreed with ihe' recommendation and admitted the prisoner to probation for twelve months.
