Bay Team to Challenge > Manawatu THREE CHANGES MADE The team to represent Hawke's Bay in the Hawke Cup cricket match against Manawatu at Palmerston North on hebruary 26, 27 and March 1 was announced by the sol© selector, Mr F. F. Cane, this morning, as follows: — M. E. Beuth (Rugby). ; C. Ceddes (Hastings). L. Kauter (Technical O.B.) H. N. Lambert (Hastings, captain) B. J. Mahony (N. H.S.O.B.) . R. J. Mornssey (United). 7 F. S. Northe (Technical O.B.) M. A. O'Brien (United). R. K. Phillips (N. H.S.O.B.) H. E. I. Reaney (N. H.S.O.B.) T. P. Reaney (N. H.S.O.B.) 12th. man: B. A, Younghusband (United). In • view of previous criticism, the selector wishes to make it clear that Younghusband, who is acting as 12th. man, wili not necessaiily be includtd. in the eleven if % member of the side iinds it impossible to play before the team actifally leaves for Palmerston North. Three changes have been made in th© side, that- visited Gisborne for the Kirk Cup match, Geddis, Northe and Phillips being included. Those who have not been included in the latest selection are McCann, Biggar and Johnston.
