WELLINGTON, This Day. Two tram cars were partly derailed and a motor-car almost completely wrecked ih a " sandwich v accident at the junction of Customhouse Quay and Post Office Square at 8.45 this morning. The driver of the car, Mr H. C. Trim, programme organiser at 2YA, had an extraordinary escape from injury, climbing from the wmflow without a acratcli. Ah hour's work with a Breakdown gang wagon and four other trams wero reauired to free the motor-car, wliich was tightly wedged, and get the ,ljwo trams back on the rails. Other truliic meanwhile was diverted and a large crowd watched the breakdown gang at their job.
