Dunedin, Last Night. The provincial counoil of the Farmers' Union earried a resolution prqtesting against the Government cqndoning the action of tlie Auckland freezjng workers in ilouting the arbitration award and against ihe ai'bitrary action q,f the Minister of Labour in orderjng employers to pay higher than the award rate. Mr A. C. Cameron stated that the Govqrnment liad established a danger aua precsedent in shQwing that it could he bounced by the vote of a eontrqlling itnion, and the employers could imagine what would. happen now when labour difficulties arose. 1
