\ KANSAS CITY, Feb. 18. 1 Louis knocked out Natie Brown in. the fourtli xouiid of a scheduled ten.round bout. There was a wild flnish aimilar to tbat in 4 wrestling bout, witb the referee, Mr. Bates, also floored. While a crowd of 14*000 roared, Louis methodically sent rights and lefts to Brown 's face in the fir^t 40 seconds of the fourth xound until a hard right dropped Brown into a dazed 1 sitting position. Attempting' to raise i himself to his feet, Brown clutehed Bates' leg and pulled the latter down tothe floor too. Bates arose and awarded {he fight to Louis on a technical knock-' out but the offieial time-keeper informed him he had completed the count while Bates was down so the referee changed the decision and credited Louis with a knockout, Tn the first round Louis left hjs eorner slowly and circled round. A" light left from Brown glanced Louis' chin. The men clinched and then Louis led with two lefts but did® ho damage. Brown crOssed with a right to the head and the pair exchanged left jabs. Then Louis hooked a hard left to the body and Brown a right to the ear. Tn the second round Brown came out fast and carried the fight to Louis. There was a brief flurry of punches before Louis backed Brown to the ropes, but he fought clear. Louis began to connect with short lefts and rights to the chin. In the third round Louis stalked Brown but was unable to land an effective blow. They exchanged body blows at close quarters and Louis again conneeted with hard lefts and rights to the face- as- Brown came ih. Brown landed a solid right to the body. . ■ In the fourth Tound the unen met in the centre'of the ring. Louis connected with hard rights and lefts' toBrown 's face which was becoining puffy. Brown went to the ropes and Louis landed a terrific right, ending the fight. Moanwhile the promotor, Joe Foley, announced that Chicago arrangements had been completed for the LouisBraddock title bout at Comiskey Park ' instead of Soldiers' Field on June 22. Louis and Braddock are scheduled to • appear during the day for the* formal contract-signing ceremony. j
