HAWKE'S BAY HUNT
Anhual Meeting Held The adjourned annual meeting of the Hawke's Bay Hunt was held on Saturday evening. Present: Messrs T. Sherratt (Master, in the chair), H. Hassall, G. D. Beatson, Hon. H. A, Russell, W. A. To'd, W. J. Wood, H. S. Rathbone, D. N. Lane, L. White, Forbes McHardy, D. J. Holden, A. F. Harris, T. White, J. J. Gatenby. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs A. W. ParSons and F. B. Donnelly. It was resolved that the chairman's aetion in postponing the annual meeting from February 10 to 13 on account of the Dannevirke Show, be endorsed and the meeting proceed. The Master moved the adoption of the xepcrt and balance-sheet.— Carried. Mr H. Hassall moved a recommendation to *«ho incoming committee to go into the "queslion of unpaid subscriptions for iast year, and devise some means whereby they are paid earliei in the year. Russell; vice-pre-sidents: Messrs G. I}. Beatson and F. B. Donnelly; master: Mr T. Sherratt; deputy-masters: Messrs A. W. Pareons, J. N. Lowry, P.- Whito and T. Butler; committee; Messrs R. O. Bousfield, J. Ohambers H. M. Glazebrook, F. Hansen, H. Hassall, I. Henderson, D. J. Holden, A. F. Harris, D. Lane, D. Koidcn, L. Moorhead, Forbes MeHardy, R. Nelson, E. Nelson, H. S. Rathbone, W. A. To'd, L. Wnite, J. W. Wedd. Messrs Rainbow Hobbs and Nesbitt were re-appoiuted auditors. The meeting caTiied a vote of thanks to those settlers who had provided eountcy for hunting during the pa3t season. Yotes of thanks were also passed to those who helped the club in arranging the Hunt ball, both at Hastingi3 and Waipawa, and to Mr Brodie, for his assistance and advice at the Kennels. Appreciation of the gift of a stud hound l>y Mr A. W. Parsons was expressed, and also thanks to Mr D. J. Holden for the trouble he took in England in eelecfcmg the hound, which was in every way most .suitable to the . Hawke 's Bay pack. A vote of thanks was passed to the secretary for his services.
