BRIDESMAID'S PARTY FOR FUTURE BRIDE
Miss E, Bonisch, Port Ahuriri, who is to be married shortly, was the guest of ; honour reoentiy at a kitchen evening given by Miss M. Downing, who is to be her bridesmaid, at her paients' home m Hastingjs. The sitting room was tastefully decorated with bowls of ' hydrangeas, sweet peas and marigolds. The evening passed away cheerfully with fnendly .conversation and competitions, which were won by Misses M. Lys, E. Bonisch and P . Pimley., all of whom received a dainty gift. Miss E. Bonisch was also the recipient of a "mystery'' parcel, the contents of which caused much amusement. t After a dainty savoury supper had been handed ro und the guest-of-honour was called upon to open her many parcels which when unwrapped revealed a very usefui assortment for her future kitchen. , * Miss Downing received her guests wearing a frock of marina bJu© uncrushable marocain. Miss Bonisch was attired in a dainty floral frock. Those present were: Mesdames A. Downing and J. Kelly, Misses M Downing, E. Bonisch, M. and E. Bateman N Hill, M. O'Connor, P. and V. Pimley, M. Lys and O. and I. Williarason.
