Remits For Provincial Conference

WAIPUKUEAU, Last Night. At the annual meeting ,of the Hatuma branch o£ the N ew Zealand Farmef s ' Union, held. in the Hatuma Hall, the following officers were elected:— President, Mr 0. E.; Edgecombe; vice-presi-dents, Messrs G. Kennedy and W Hamilton; secretary-treasurer, Mr H. P . Hole. Mr Kennedy was also appointed delegate to the provincial conference. The . chairman reviewed the past year's activiti^s, and the seeretarytrehsurer reported a credit balance ia the Post Office. It was resolved to send the following xemits to the provincial executive : — (1) That this meeting of the Hatumn branch of the N.Z.F.U. endorses the remaTirs of the members of tbe H-B. A. aud P. Society with leference to the offering for sale of inferior flock rams, and recommends the provincial execu-, tive, in conjunction with the H.B. A. and P. Society, to take up the matter, with the Romney Marsh 'Breeders' Association. x (2) Only stoek bred by vendors be allowed to be offered for sale at the ram "fairs. .
