WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. "I think Waipukurau is one of ,tho wofst lit towns for its size that I have seen," said Mr Brathwaite at last night' s meeting, of the Borough Council. He 6uggested that the council should give eonaideration to the quegtion of better etreet ' lighting in the borough. The Town Clerk reported that he had requested the Central Hawke's Bay Power Board's engineer to supply him with information regardingj this subject some months ago, but so far had uot received any repiy; The Town Clerk was. ihstructed to make further inquiries and report.
