WELLINGTON, This Day. Interviewed on his return from a 12months tour of the world, Professor W. Riddet, director of the Dairy Research Institute at Massey College, commented on the favourable position held by New Zealand on the British dairy market but emphasised the necessity for maintaining the quality of the output and for reeiprocal trade. As an example of the benefits of reeiprocal trade, he said that Lord Nuffield had told him that all of the. 30,000 employees of the Morris factories used only New Zealand butter. Professor Riddet said that any complaints regarding marketing at Home were ably investigated by Dairy Division inspee'tors, whose services were appreciated by the whole of the distributing trade.
