The News Chronicle's Berlin correepondent says: "Owing to the indigation caused by Herr von Ribbentrop's Nazi salute to the King, Herr Hitler has considered the whole matter of dipiomatic salutes and has ordered repre sentatives, whether members of the Embassy or of the consular service, to give the Nazi salute while performing official duties, consisting of , an informal flip of the hand Bhoulder-high, not the full-outflung arm, while "Heil Hitler" will not be said. Ambassadors apart from Herr von Ribbentrop have hitherto saluted according to the custom of the country where they are serving.
