Two Chinese Fined at Auckland

AUCKLAND, This Day. Caught smoking opium in the loft of a stable, two Chinese appeared iu the Poiice Court this moining. Ah Soo, for being found in the possession of prepared opium, was fined the rainimum of £25, while Ah Wing, for bejng found on premises used for opium smoking, was fined £15. Counsel for the . accused. said both men were opium addicts and hard workers who were smoking for relaxation.
