Major Stevens, from India, accompanied by Mrs Stevens, is visiting Lake Waikaremoana while on a Dominion tour. The Ven. Archdeacon, Butterfield and Mrs Butterfield are to be farewelled at Wairoa on February 25. Mr and Mrs C. Watt, of Johnsonville, Wellington, and their small son, are on a visit to Wairoa., and staying with the latter's parents, Mr and Mrs H. A. Bygum. Mrs D..Byford, of Wairoa, has gone on a holiday to Wellington. Mr and Mrs R. Dick, who have been paying a visit to Wairoa and staying with Mr and Mrs Vale, left for Christchurch on Friday. Mrs Jane White is paying a visit to Wairoa and staying with Mr and Mrs A. T. Carroll, at Hurumua. Mrs White, who is hale and hearty in spite of her great age, is a sister of the late Sir James Carroll.
