AUTHOR'S DEATH
Australian With Varied Career (Received 12, 10.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 12. The death has occurred of the Australian author and historian, Captain Donald MacLeau. aged 63, author of "John Scarlett'' and other works. He had a varied career as a dentist's assistant, saddler's apprentice, bush missioner, city minister, army chaplain, traveller, lecturer and author in that order.
