£10,000 DAMAGES

Claims by 13 Sydney Policemert (Received 12, 11.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 11. Thirteen policemen issued writs out of the Supreme Court, each claiming £10,000 damages against a nominal defendant, the Under-Secretary for Justice. The cause of the action is not disclosed, but it has been stated tbat action against the Government is being • taken by those members of the force wbo were dismissed in December following Judge Markell's Teport on etarting-price betting.
