COUNCILLOR'S CRITICISM
Severai Things Lacking In Dannevirke "We bave a progressive town, but all the same, there are severai things I don't agree with. A lot of the tools which the borough workmen have to wurk with are a disgrace. Many of the implements are unfit to use, and it is not a fair thing to aslt the- men to do a fair day's work with them." The above rema\ks were aiade by Cr. II. E. Hibbard at the meeting of the Dannevirke Council. He added that the sign boards in the town needed attention, and that he woultl like to see some improvements mt^e to the rest room at the cemetery. There were also severai matters requiring attention on the domain, including the provision of two or three more wash basins at tho camp site.
