WAIPAWA, Last Nignc. There was a good attendance at tho fortnightly meetmg of the Ruataniwha Lodge U.A.O.D. at Waipawa. The A.D. Bro. R. Martin presided. As it was the night set down for the half-yearly ritual compelition for the Potter fcjhield and McClurg Cup there were members present from the Albion Lodge (Napier) and Eureka Lodge (Hastings). There were5 also present members from Oroua Lodge (Palmerston North). They wero welcomed by the A.D. The Eureka Lodge were successful in annexing both trophies, after a keen contest in which every lodge acquitted itself very ereditably. The senior judge, P.D.F. Bro. Colbeit, handed over the cup and shield to A.D. Bro. Cutler of the Eureka Lodge. Bro. Cutler returned thanks and congratulated the other two lodges ou the performances. Bro. Jones, the A.D, of Albion Lodge, also spoke. On behalf of Ruataniwha Lodge, Bro. Martin thanked the other lodge3 for their attendance. Supper was served by the social committee. P.D.G. Bro. G. Tudehope, of Albion Lodge, made a present ation on behalf of Ruataniwha Lodge to P.A. Bro. C. J. Watson and Sister Kemp, who are shortly to be married. In handing them a chiming clock, Bro. Tudehope wished them a happv marrisd life. They were accorded musical konours. Bro. Watson returned thanks. P.D.P. Bro. Tueker welcomed the Palmerston North brethren. P.A. Bro. Ayres, replying on their behalf, gave an interesting talk on ritual matters and other Druidic activities in the Manawatu district. A -musical monologue was Tendered by Sister Kemp.
