Heavy steers rangod ii m £12 to £13 2/6, medium £11 to £12 2/6, light £10 to £10 17/6, unrinished £■( to £9 15/-, extra heavy cows and heifers £9 to £10 12/6, heavy £7 5/- to £8 17/6, medium £6 to £7 7/6, light £4 10/- to £6j unfinished £2 10/- to £4 10/-. Many good aheep were penned, and realised revent values. Breeding ewes were mclined to be easier than at the rocent fair. Lambs were plentiful and steady in price. Heavy" wethers made 28/- to 3G/6, medium 26/- to 29/6, light 24/9 to 27/6, unfinished 20/- to 24/9, heavy ewes 20/- to 22/6, medium 18/6 to 20/9, light 17/- to 19/6, unfinished 5/- to 18/6, prime lambs 20/- to 31/-, finished 10/.- to 19/6. Good quality was exhibited in a large entry of calves, whieh decreased in value up to 7/- a head. Runners sold froin £2 15/- to £6 7/-, heavy vealers £4 to £5 7/-, medium £3 7/- td £4 15/-, iight £2 10/- to £3 16/-, small and bucket-fed £1 1/- to £2 6/-, bobby and rough 6/- to 23/-. A good yarding of good quality pigs sold at last week's rates. Qhoppers realised £1 15/- to £3 4/-, heavy baconers £3 8/- to £3 15/-, medium £3 6/- to £3 10/-, light £3 to £3 3/*, heavy porkers £2 11/- to £2 14/-, medium £2 5/- to £2 9/-, Lght £1 18/- to £2 4/-, Small and unfinished £1 8/- to £1 18/-, etores £1 2/- to £1 8/-, slips 12/- to 20/-, weaners 6/- to 16/-. Baconers and porkers average Ud per 1b.
