Suggestion That Fixed Date Be Adopted BETTER FOR TRADE

WELLINGTON, This Day. The executive of the Asgociated Chambers of Commerce is recom- ' mending to constituent Chambers that the provincial Anniversary Day holidays be held on a common date throughout the Dominion. It is aiso making representations to the Government in favonr of the Kings Birthday holiday being always on the same day — say, the second Monday in June. Objection is raised to December 14 owing to its proximity to Christmas.
