Two Small Innings The sole club sonior llxture at Hastings was the meeting between Rugby and United at Nelson Park. At the end of the day's play the honours rested with Rugby on the first innings. Batting first they made 99, tho prmcipal scorer being Craike, who made 31, whilo Grant took five wickets for 27 runs. ln reply. United were dismissed for 66 runs, Craike taking four wickets for 30 runs. At stumps Rugby had lost eix wickets for 88 runs. Craike makm« 34.
