WEEKLY 500 TOURNEY HELD AT CLIVE HALL

The weekly {500" ' tournament was held in ' the supper-room of the Clivfl Publie Hall on Friday evening, thore being a good attendance of players. The ladies' prize was won by Mrs Caldwell with Mrs Taylor, snr. secpnd, and the men's by Mr H. Richardson 1 and Mr Lattimore 2. It was also the final night of Ihe aggregate, Mrs ■ A. Dockary and Mrs Barton Smith tying for the ladies' an'd Mr H. Richardson winning the men's. A -bottle of wine, donated by Mr W. Taylor was wop by Mrs Barton Smith who kindly donated it baek ±or competition next wee'k. Mr>W- Raymond also kindly donated a case of cider whieh was won by Mr Sullivan. The committee wish to ex» press their appreciation to the donors. ■A savoury supper was seTVed at the close of play by the ladies' committeo.
