PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Miss Tierney, Ongaonga, who has been spending ner annual leave in Wellington and Napier has returned home. Mr P. Bollons, secretary of the Waipukurau branch of the Hawke's Bay War Relief Association, has asked to be relieved of his position. Mr Bollons was appointed secretary of the Waipukurau Patriotic Society in 1914, and on the merging of the varipus patriotic societies into the War Relief Association, he was appointed secretary of the Waipukurau branch and has held that position ever since. Regret was expressed by members at the Association' s last meeting, when a record was made in the minutes of Mr Bollons'p services. Mr N. J. McKay, the retiring president of the Waipawa Golf Club, was accorded a hearty vote of thanks at the annual meeting of the club for his services during his three-years term of office. Mr and Mrs E. W. Bond and Miss F. Gray, Waipawa, are at present in Gisborne. Mr J. R. Barker, Waipawa, who has been on a visit to Taupo has returned i iiojne.
