AictixEL, Tiiis Day. There have been three frosts during the past t'ortnight, sliglit daniage being done to some puinpkin and potato crops. Fine days have followed the frosts, and farmers have taken advantage of this to c.omplote harvesting operations in the district. Tliere are more oat etacks to be seen tluin for some years past. There has been a decided increase iu agricultural works during the past year and draught horses are in demand
