Mr T. McDonald presided over tho montkly meeting of the Taradale Library Committee. Othei members present were: Mrs R. J. Campbell, Miss R. Martin, Messi's W. J. Jarvis, C. H. Williams, F. (). Anderson, R. Willis, J. Wainscott, J Wilkinson, J. Wiseman, R. Brown and J. Williamson (secretary). The biennial conferenoe of the Libraries Assoriation will be held during the present month at Wellington, and it was suggested that if any member was in Wellington during that period an effovt should be made to atteud. Several accounts were passed for payment. The ehairman re^ ported the purehase oi 14 books during tbe month. A number of new subscribers have joined up recently.
