ATTEMPTED SUICIDE

Girl Who Quarrelled Witb Young Man After heariug the facts, Mr J. Miller, S.M., eonvicted a young woman of attempted suicide when she appeared in the Napier Magistrate's Court this morning. She was eonvicted and ordered to come up for sentence if cailed upon within six months. The accused pleaded guilty. For the police, Senior-Sergeaqt W. Pender said that the offence was tho result of depression on the part of the young woman following a differenco with a young man with wliom she had been keep ing timpany.
