aid to adjustment Schedule of Produce Pricee Over Past 10 Years REVIEW COURT'S ORDER An order for the Conrt of Raview has been prepared setting out schedules of the average prices Of produce over the last ten years as • a basis for compnting Ihe productive value of farm properties. for the purpose of adjustment under the Morcgagors and Lessees Eehan bilitation Act. Applications for relief nnder the Act closed on Monday last. , The order will enable partie* Inter* ested to obtain full particulam of tho computation required under the Aetg and will thus give them ihe material necessary to conduct negotiations for settlement between themselves without , having to go before an adjustment • commission. These findings have now been mad# available, and copies may b*e obtained at the Hastings Courthouse. The schedule has been produced aftefe close research into the varions faetor# influencing production from farm*- and stations, and as far as possible th# Court of Review has given a lead for the respective distriet commissiona, though in eome divisions the finding# \ apply to provincial or combined dis« tricts. Thus, in regard to eertain de* scriptions of produce values for Pov* erty Bay are grouped with those fo f Hawke's Hay. Generally speaking, the prices quoted for the guidance of the distriet oom* missions represent the average for th# past 10 yeaxs, thougk in some easea shorter periods have been nsed| July 31, 1935, being "the terminal date in each instance. Gross sale prices at tbe ' point of sale have been examined as tb# basis for priee stabilisation, and eonv missions will make allowance* fog charges deductable from those priee* ia adjnstmg the scale for local appliea* tion.
