Brigade Turns Out Quickly LITTLE DAMAGE

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. The Waipukurau Mre Brigade xeceived a call to a scrub fire on a vacant section in Ruataniwha street, next to the Salvation Army Hall, just after two o'clock this afternoon. The Brigade cnade an exceptionally quick turn-out, arriving at -the scene of the fire and Kaving the water playing on it two and a-half minutes after the aiarm«first sounded. The cause of the outbreak is unknown. A wooden fence and a bach on the next section had a very narrow escape.
