LIFT-MEN'S STRIKE
Small-Scale Afiair Settled (Reeeived 4, 8.45 a.ni.) NEW YORK, Feb. 3. A small-scale reprodnction of last year's building service strike Halted elevators in a forty-two storey office building for four Hours and spread to 17 smaller buildings before a truce was effeeted. THe union announced that strikes were planned in a number of apartment buildings unless the Contracts were renewed.
