GOLD KEY PRESENTED AT ONGAONGA PARTY

On the occasion of the twenty-first hirthday of their elder daughter Hazel, Mr and Mrs A. Hutt entertained well over 100 guests at a very jolly dance in the Ongaonga Hall on Monday night. The hall had been beautifully decorated with greenery and streamers, wkicL presented a very gay seene. Mr W. Te Tau's orchestra supplied music for the dancing and Mrs Meha played extras. For non-dancers cards were available. A delieioue savoury /supper was served, after which Mr Hutt in a neat speech presented his daughter with a beautiful gold key. The guest of honour then opened a wonderful array of - gifts. During the evening a spot waltz was won by Mr Geo. Fletcher and Miss Green, and a Monte Carlo by Mr N. Taylor and Miss Freemantle. Dancing was continued until an early ho-ur.
