PRE-WEDDING GIFT EVENING IN NAPIER

la view of their approaching mar--iage, Miss Marvel Fulford and Mr JSTorman Zemanek (Napier) were entertained at Sidfey Hall with a gift party sponsored hy the Misses Iris Pidd and Nancy Pulford, who are to be hridesmaids. The young couple were the rccipients of many beautiful and useful preaents and hearty wishes for their tuture happiness were extended to them. The hall was tastefully decorated and the evening was spent in' music, gamea and eompetitions. A delicious supper which had been prepared by the many helpera was enjoyed by about 60 persons present. The singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and "For They Are Jolly Gooa Fellows,, brought a pleasant evening to a cloaa. *
