Six in HiB Regimental Dxstrict This Year WAIPUKURAU U DANNEVIRKE Six maifi eamps will be held in the Hawke'4 Bay Begimental district this year, and will be shared between Waipukurau and Dannevirke. In addxtion to these, several week-end training bivouacs will be held, mainly in the first part of the year. No indication of the numbers of men to attend the eamps is at present avaxlable. The Second Field Company of New Zealand Engineers is at present in camp at Waipukurau, and will strike camp to-day. The 1st Battalion of the Wellington Begiment follows the latte* unit into camp at Waipukurau, officers and N.C.O.'s arriving to-day and the remainder of the battalion on Saturday. The camp will be struck on Saturday week. The Second Field Ambulance of the New Zealand Medical Corps will hold its annual camp this year at Dannevirke from February 28 to Marck 5, Tho Hawke 's Bay Begiment also camps at Dannevirke, offlcer* and N.C.O.'s going into camp on March 10, and the main body of the regimeut on March 13. They will remain under canvas until March 20. Lieut.-Colonel A. X Manson, M.C., E.D.. will be in command. The annual camp of the Manawata Mounted Bifles begins at Dannevirke on April 13, and camp will break * week later. Lieut.-Colonel P. D. W. Strachan. E.D., will be xn command. The final camp in the district for the year will be that of the Wellington and East Coast Mounted Bifles at Dannevirke from April 28 to May 6. .Tbe officer in command of this camp will be Lieut.-Colonel H. B. Maunsell, E.D.
