Following is the Government Meteo (Ologist's summary and forecast for the Oentral, Last and North-east district for the 24 hours from 9 o.tu, to-day: - General inference: The anti-cyclone mentioued yesterday still lies across northern New Zealand. A shallow westerly depression is advancing on to the South Island but has so far had little influeuce on the weather. A fresh anti-cyclone is moving on to the western Tasman Sea. Forecast: Light to moderate northerly winds predominating ° and freshening somewhat but changing to southerlies after about 24 to 36 hours. Weather: Fine and warm Seas: Sldght to moderate THE SUN.
