' OTANE, Last Night. j A meeting of the Town Hall and Eej serves Committee was held last night, j'Mr R. H. White presiding over a full i attendance, An offer was accepted to ; extend the soldiers' memorial by adding j a cap of grey stone and to renew the floor, clean and replaster the foundation bases with white cement and sand, and also to cover the curb wall with Englishi white cement wash. The work will be begun shortly. The wome'n's institute was thanked for th© gift of a table for use in the hall. An offer from the institute to assist the committee in an effort to rai'se funds to carry out much-needed extensions to the hall kitclien was also gratefully accepted.
